Bradley Manning

Army Specialist Bradley Manning has been accused of giving classified U.S. combat video to a whistleblower website.

If this is true, I applaud him. The video that has got him in the most trouble is the video of a group of men, some of them Reuters reporters, being gunned down by helicopters when they were mistaken for men carrying RPGs. They were only carrying cameras.

I've never seen a camera that looked remotely like an RPG or vice versa. But I digress.

The video is graphic, horrifying and gut wrenching. When you see it you can't help ask "why are we doing this?" This video NEEDED to be seen by the world. Mr. Manning needed to make it available to us. For this, he is a hero of freedom and truth and for this he is God Of The Month.
